Pushbuttons

One complete component
Pushbuttons and switches are input components designed as a mono element.  The contact and switch chambers are directly integrated in the control component – one complete component. The task is to register the command quickly and easily and integrate it in the power circuit. 

The design
Various sizes are available for different mounting hole diameters from 8 mm to 20.3 mm in various colours, with or without illumination. The series are complete for all requirements.

The RAFI pushbutton families

• Illuminated pushbutton series 8 mm, mounting hole diameter 8.1 mm
• LUMOTAST FK pushbutton, mounting hole diameter 16.2 mm, with flat ribbon cable connection

Control and signalling units

Control units with pushbuttons, selector and key switches, emergency-stop / E-stop pushbuttons etc. Three series are available, sub-divided according to the mounting hole diameter of the actuators and different contact systems:

Short-travel keyswitches


Short-travel keyswitches (actuation travel typically 0.5 mm) are usually used in keyboards under an overlay or under keycaps. Here is an overview of the main RAFI short-travel keyswitch families with surface area:

 Full-travel keyswitches

RAFI PCB keyswitches, full-travel system RS 76 and keylock switch for PCB

The RS76 series offers a complete modular system for mounting high-quality full-travel systems (key stroke 4 mm) in a ¾ inch grid with an overall height of 15.5 or 15.9 mm.

Two different contact systems are available:

• A high-quality gold alloy is used in the RS76M. It offers high contact reliability combined with low contact resistances and short bounce times.
• A contactless Hall-based contact system is used in the RS76C. This allows bounce-free and wear-free switching with an unrivalled service life, also in difficult environmental conditions.
